 Shopping For the Week
« Thread Started on Aug 4, 2008, 2:03am »

If there was one thing Cole hated about a motherless home, it was that he and his dad had to take turns doing the shopping for the week's food. It wasn't one of his best days to do so, since he knew he could be doing better things with his time. Cans...cans...and more cans. Another downside to living with his father instead of his mother was that all they had were mostly canned goods since his father didn't have time to cook and Cole himself knew nothing of it.

Aisle by aisle the young man pushed the shopping cart down and chucked everything on the list into the cart. He didn't care what brand anyway...since they seem to all taste the same. He was just hoping that it would be one of those days wherein he would bump into someone he knew.
