Ian had help from some of his students. The library was arranged well enough so that registration could be organized. Summer classes was always the deserted registration, but Ian and colleague Tania Montgomery was hoping this year would not. As a matter of fact, they pretty much hope for the same thing every year. It's not that kids nowadays hate to study, it's just that they have better things to do, or at least they think they have better things to do.
So, here comes Ian's idea of drawing the kids back to school. Every year the number of people watching the Fight Box grows larger and larger. It seems that it's the only thing that interests the kids lately. And if it takes the Fight Box to attract the kids, it's worth the risk. The principal and Ian had rows about opening it over the summer, but Ian still had his father's blood running through his veins. The man can still be pretty convincing.
Tania walked into the room and looked around. The registration boards were all spread out, simply waiting for students to sign up...if there were any willing to do so, that is. The decorations around the library was pretty much attractive. There was a big sign in the middle that says that the Fight Box would be open two times a week. This was the first year that they were going to do that. It was a test run to see if it would actually attract students to come to school over the summer.
Tania looked at Ian who just nodded. All they could do now was wait.
