"Brianna Tyler! She won't talk to me now! And she told me to stay away from her sister who is in the same stupid year! How can she do that! She can't do that! Stupid, this is! I made her shake hands with me and told her to be by my side when I'm older and I sort out this place! Stupid girl! Stupid city! Stupid life!" Charlie said, sitting on the floor and clicking his fingers as he stretched them.

Terrence raised a brow. "Tyler?" he repeated, having heard that name somewhere. "Does she have any connection the the Glare family at all?" It was one of two reasons...either Brianna didn't like him or there was something to do with the Glares.

"Yes, her stupid father works for them! I hate this! It's so annoying! It's so stupid. Why do people have to take sides! I don't take sides. Neither does Jessica! Why doesn't anyone else understand?" Charlie said, sighing and putting his head in her hands.

"Calm down, Charlie. Take it easy," said Terrence. He was once like Charlie too, angry at what was happening. It wasn't when he grew up a bit until he realized what was the real issue. "It happens around here and there's nothing you can do to change it, my boy."

Charlie took a deep breath, calming himself down. He did have a slight temper, getting angry very quickly at little things. He looked up at Terrence and gave him a sheepish look. "Sorry. I got caught up. But I will change it. Just you wait."

Terrence slightly shook his head. "You'll have to be patient first, Charlie," he warned him. "Now why don't we all go inside and have some meal to eat before we discuss the rest of this." He was hoping that he needn't though, because discussing the matter wasn't one of the things he wanted to do really.

"Patience is one of the things I don't have a lot of," Charlie said, standing up and walking into the house. " Randy! Later I need to play a violent game, ok?"
Jessica shook her head, giving a shrug to Terrence. "He's got that idea in his head. I can't change it, as much as I try," Jessica said, following him into the house.

Terrence simply smiled. "Oh, let him be. Sometimes we really need persons like him...to have ideals, to have dreams. Who knows? Maybe he's going to change the fate of Bradewall one of these days." Although Terrence highly doubted anyone could, the world has yet to meet young Charlie.

"I suppose," Jessica agreed, nodding. "But we don't need people like him during school lessons to start a lecture on how the world is all wrong, really. During a maths lesson, in fact. I had the teacher call me from my own lesson to escort him out as he had started a petition." Jessica sighed. Her brother had too many ideas about changing the world.

Terrence simply smiled. "Let him dream of it before society actually corrupts his morals otherwise," he said plainly. He had been a boy Charlie's age too, full of dreams and hopes for Bradewall. All of it crumbled upon knowing the many truths that were hidden from it. He simply hoped that this would not be Charlie's fate.
"Sometimes, you have to hope like he does too, Jess," said Terrence, looking at Jessica.
